(1) During the Main or Battle Phase (except during the Damage Step), if you took damage from battle or an opponent’s card effect this turn (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY Special Summon 1 “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl” from your Deck or GY. You can use each effect among the (1)st and (2)nd with this card’s name only once per turn.
#CHAOS VS FIRE DARK SOULS DRIVER#
So, it appears that OU is better with chaos infusion as it is more useful with fire damage dealing pyromancies, while DT is better suited for dark damage dealing pyromancies.īoth weapons are good in their own way, but keeping in mind that ring slots are limited (i mean clutch rings), OU is better with chaos infusion for people who like to position their enemies and play aggressively, while DT is better with dark infusion for people who like to keep enemies at a distance and likes to play defensively.ĭo you agree? Do you want add something? Leave a reply.Illusion of Chaos is a great utility card for anyone wants to keep something like Driver in the Main. Not only that, but you can bait an enemy into Black Flame by faking a poke with DT. Best to use Black Serpent and Black Flame in combo with this weapon, as Black Serpent is very useful to keep enemies moving (and being hit at the same time) and Black Flame will obliterate anyone who comes close. DT is best used to keep enemies at bay while you continue to launch spell after spell. You should use this weapon mainly for pokes and surprised charges, as it does less damage, but have longer reach.

This weapon should be used for damage and to punish enemies for their mistakes.ĭT have entirely different usage for spells. Throw some Seething Chaos, Floating Chaos or Great Chaos Fire Orb, keep your enemy moving and attack when time is right. You should use spells to position your opponent where you want them to be and fight them at your own terms. OU works better with utility spells and buffs. Now, these is another important factor to address: spells. So, depending on what you are looking for: It have quite good tracking and length of the charge can be extended. With right rings and timing you can devastate pretty much any target in your path. WA is very useful to punish people, close distance and ramp up damage to the sky. Tracking of WA is quite bad and it is very predictable, so other players can avoid it and monsters with high poise can face-tank it.ĭT have good running attack, good L1 and is a spear, so it have good range to poke enemies. However, WA of this weapon is quite bad when fighting enemies with much greater speed or reach as they can simply dodge and attack you from a safe place. OU have good running attack and WA is very good against unsuspecting enemies. I define usefulness as how much can you do and how safe are you doing it. While at low levels this is not significant, however, addressing OU higher attack speed (though, it differs not that much) total damage over longer fight can ramp up giving OU an advantage in damage potential. Playing aggressively, damage potential of these two weapons differs because of innate bleed of OU.

Onikiri and Ubadachi at +10 (will be called OU from this point forward)ĭrang Twinspears at +10 (will be called DT from this point forward)īase damage differ in 9 (which can be ignored because of split damage) and because of identical scalings of damage related stats, it looks like damage of these two weapons could be ignored, if not one important detail. I think these two are the best non-heavy weapons for DEX/INT/FTH hybrid pyromancer thus there is a need to figure out which one is better. I will like to debate which of these two weapons is superior in PVP/PVE and why i think so.
